Hundreds of activists from around the country convened for an online week of inspiration and strategy to win Medicare for All! The 2022 M4A conference featured more than 20 plenary panels, 40 live workshops, and 80 speakers.
The overwhelming majority (59%) of America’s uninsured are people of color. Several states and many cities are already “majority minority.” We need our health care system to make racial equity a cornerstone, not an afterthought or vanity project. That remodeling begins with how and we advocate and communicate about Medicare For All. This talk establishes racial equity as a central focus and offers new paths for dialogue and movement growth.
