The implementation of Medicare for All could result in the loss of an estimated 1.8 million insurance and administrative jobs. This participatory workshop will explore what a worker-centered Just Transition could look like using current and historical examples of ways to protect workers going through a major transition. The workshop will also explore why most workers don’t trust the promise of a just transition, and why Just Transition must be a major priority of the Medicare for All movement.
