I am a retired nurse who is a volunteer and supporter of the Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care.  Our organization works toward universal, single payer health care on the state and/or federal level.  We work to educate the population about the need and value of health care through a publicly funded, privately delivered system of health care financing.  In 2016 a resolution to create Colorado Care, was placed on the ballot through a citizen's petition drive.  The initiative earned 21% of the vote.  The work of the Foundation continues and is demonstrating significant progress.  I am proud of the work we are doing.

I have attended four of the previous Strategy conferences and have appreciated gaining so much insight and knowledge.  The networking is exceptional.  I look forward to this virtual conference.
