I have been in the movement for well over 15 years. With the outstanding help of a strong content development team I Initiated two major actions during my efforts: one focused on letters to members of Congress and another that focused on making progress on Medicare for All by 9/9/2009. I have initiated hundreds of one-on-one contacts with Americans across the United States. I drove from MI to the east coast and back multiple times for PNHP conferences. I drove from MI to TX and back for a Healthcare-NOW conference there ... and many times to Illinois and back for conferences there. I spent 10 days in CA and another 10 in OR over the years making many one-on-one contacts. These are just a few examples of times during which the travel itself and the destinations involved my making very many contacts. The years 2020 and 2021 was an interruption in my efforts ... and, therefore, our efforts ... due to that central Michigan flooding that was widely reported across the USA. It has been a long-term recovery for multiple reasons, including an opportunity to upgrade our home in many ways

I've learned much during my time in the movement from other activists (for whom I am greatly appreciative) and from the hundreds of face-to-face, one-on-one contacts.

Our team has changed a bit over time, but one consistent habit we've had is to take full advantage of experience gained and some outstanding inputs of advice given.

The latest development was in early 2022. An an anonymous contributor gave input which initiated the preparation for a new activity for informing Americans. That new activity will start sometime in 2022 and mainly occur during all of 2023.
